More about the Pavillion, the summer concerts, and movies

The centerpiece of the Park is the historic pavillion, built to replicate the original dance pavilion on the lake that was the hot spot for the entire Inland Northwest in the early part of the 20th century.

The pavillion serves as both picnic shelter and stage--brought to life by performances and gatherings.

The natural grass amphitheater commands front row views and acoustics from any spot, making it one of the premier concert and outdoor movie locations in the Inland Northwest.

Come early to an event--or anytime--with the kids and let them enjoy the wonderful playground and water toys for the kids; basketball and tennis courts and lots of space to kick a ball or have a picnic.

About Friends of Pavillion Park

The Friends of Pavillion Park is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the sense of community in Liberty Lake by providing safe and affordable opportunities for recreation, education, entertainment, and the arts.

Friends of Pavillion Park is a 501-(c)3 non-profit organization, established by a dedicated group of volunteers in 1992. Land and development contributed by The Schneidmiller Family, Greenstone Corporation and other community and government grants helped to establish the park, build the pavillion and raise funds for events. The community of Liberty Lake has continued to generously support Friends of Pavillion Park, both monetarily and through the gift of time. Its board of directors and committees are composed of volunteers, continuing to create vibrant and fun activities for Liberty Lake residents and the surrounding areas.

In addition to providing scholarships each year to local high school seniors, each summer FOPP sponsors the Liberty Lake Fun Run and a variety of performances by local, regional and national acts. The Summer Festival culminates on Labor Day weekend with the Lud Kramer Memorial Spokane Symphony Concert.

FOPP also hosts the Liberty Lake Holiday Ball at the Davenport Hotel each December, which is not only a festive gala but the main fundraiser for the Summer Festival activities.
